Chapter One The Train Whistle It was Christmas Eve, and every dog was sleeping in their crates. Sam was snoring so loud that the animals outside could even hear it. The coyotes started howling. There were seven talking dogs in the house; Sam, Lola, Sadie, Ariel, Shiba, Boomer, Isaac. Lola was the first one to wake up. She tried to go back to sleep but she couldn't. She heard another strange sound. She heard a whistle, and she opened the crate with her metal breaking tail. Then she jumped out of her crate. She heard someone yell, "Tickets please if you want to go to the polar express!!!" Lola jumped with joy saying, "Hooray!" She thought, "What about the other dogs? I cant just leave them there all alone." She ran over to the wall then smacked it, she woke everyone up and it made the house shake. She yelled "Everyone get your suitcases! Go outside and sneak in the train!" Everybody did what she said but they didn't make it onto the ...
