I have the best Mom, who has always celebrated my accomplishments. I did not expect any big celebration for getting my Master's degree since i am now 37 years old. But, my Mom asked me what I would like to do. I suggested that we get the family together to travel to a cabin for Thanksgiving. I really wanted to go to Leadville, CO. I had heard that the town of only 2,600 people was really neat to see. Leadville is also surrounded by many 14ers, one of which the kids and I climbed last summer, Mt. Sherman. Halloween Races and Running Awards

http://www.coloradorunnermag.com/2016/10/25/parker-landeis-win-hoofin-hollows-5k/ Carly and Camilla asked if we were going to do another Halloween race this year. They did the Hoofin at the Hollows kids race last year. This year I thought they could do the 5k. Lloyd decided to run with them and he did a really good job of pushing them to keep going. They ended up running the 5k 4 minutes faster than they ever have before. They ran it in 36 minutes. I ran ahead with Lola to get 2nd place behind an 11 year old girl. Here is a few articles that I made it in for my races. Connor finished up his running season and had a blast. He made many new friends. Camilla and Carly also joined me for a 1 mile Halloween race. Camilla ended up running a mile in 8:34. Her little face was so red and I could tell that she tried her absolute best.
