New Years Resolutions 2021

New Years Resolution #1: Move to an older grade in the Fall. While I love little kids, I would rather get into more in-depth teaching with the children.

New Years Resolution #2: Read 20 books. I read 22 books this year and felt like it made me smarter and happier.

New Years Resolution #3: Visit more Colorado State Parks. We have a state park pass and I would love to see what more Colorado has to offer.

New Years Resolution #4: Improve my photography skills and take more scenic pictures. I much prefer hanging pictures on my wall that I have taken, rather than buying them from the store. I have hung many of my pictures from travel in Asia and am beginning to hang pictures from the state parks.

New Years Resolution #4: Use the ukulele in my classroom. I want to sing some songs with music in my classroom. It has been proven that music makes students happier.

New Years Resolution #5: Do more backcountry camping. Colorado is getting more crowded and I like to backcountry camp because it is more secluded.

New Years Resolution #6: Achieve a 19 minute 5k and compete in more triathlons. I would much rather run shorter distances and do more swimming and biking as I get older. Achieving the speed I want without getting injured is becoming the struggle.
