Glendo State Park July 4-7, 2024
This was the first time both Maria and Marion came camping with us.

Sandy Beach is a large, white-sand beach on the eastern side of the reservoir. The beach provides a spectacular view of the reservoir, and Laramie Peak to the west. The wide open sand and gradually sloping shoreline give plentifulopportunities for swimming and water recreation.
There were still some fireworks for the 4th of July but not nearly as bad as in town.
There is so much to do from building with sand, playing ball, paddle boarding, mountain biking, fishing, and writing in the sand.
It is also a great place to sit and relax or walk around. The girls did some gymnastics.

Paddleboarding was a lot of fun.

Our campsite was nestled among the trees.
There were a lot of toads. We played with them until Lola actually ingested one of them. Toads are poisonous so we had to keep an eye on Lola for a while. She was fine.
Camilla and Lloyd went mountain biking and Carly, Marion, and I went running.
